EXECUTIVE PROTECTION AND TACTICAL MEDICINE RESPONSE (EPTMR) 

Executive Protection & Tactical Medicine Response (EPTMR) is a two-day, 16-hour course designed for both current Executive Protection (EP) specialists and those preparing to enter the field. Participants will enhance mission-critical EP skills through comprehensive instruction from experienced professionals with extensive public- and private-sector experience protecting principals of varying profiles.

EPTMR combines critical life-saving tactical medicine skills with protective movements and tactical firearm applications, following the current Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) guidelines. Each student will receive an Individual Trauma Kit (ITK).

COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE:

• Professional standards, demeanor, and principal relations
• Preparing an advance including threat assessment
• Security planning, threat mitigation, and extraction
• Communication and coordination during large scale events
• Use of force, de-escalation, and legal considerations for handgun deployment and medical care
• Multi-rep force-on-force scenarios combining protection, tactical medicine, and extraction
