The International School of Tactical Medicine Presentation Knife is the Kit Carson designed M16-14LE. In police work, your knife is an important second line of defense. This knife in black and blue dress is designed for performance and professional appearance with Special Response Teams in mind. This knife features larger contoured handles of 6061 T6 hard anodized aluminum in law enforcement blue with a perimeter radius for a comfortable grip. It has a stainless steel locking liner with friction grooves for positive locking with limited access and superior safety. The blade is AUS 8 stainless steel and titanium nitride coated for edge retention and durability, in non-reflective black finish. This knife features Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edges for rugged cutting tasks.
The M16-14LE is a full size working knife that is ideal for a variety of carry positions. The ambidextrous thumb stud with checkered surface provides instant access in any circumstance. It features a dual grind Tanto blade with a false grind on the top edge. One-hand opening and closing is velvet smooth, the result of Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot.
