Since the inception of our tactical medicine training program in 1996 we have had students from all over the world attend the school. The many foreign students who come to the International School of Tactical Medicine for training have enriched our lives and have educated us on how medicine is practiced in other countries and cultures.
We value and appreciate this exchange of knowledge and information and the dedication of these students to travel sometimes great distances to Palm Springs. Foreign students are always welcome and we make every effort to make their stay and training as productive as possible.

Styrmir Sigurdarson has graduated from ISTM, and is currently Tactical Paramedic firefighter for the Fire and Rescue in Reykjavik
He also serves as an Official ERC (European Resiscitation Council) instructor, and the Head Instructor for EMT-B and EMT-I in Iceland.
