Grants and Funding

Homeland Security Grant Funding can be used to attend the International School of Tactical Medicine. California responders that are registering for training using Homeland Security Grant Funds will need to visit the following website and complete the California Training Request Form. This form will provide the responder with the Tracking Number. This number will then be needed to process your agencies reimbursement: http://www.homeland.ca.gov/forms/default.asp (All other states may have a similar process using the Non-SLGCP reporting form).

California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training

The Basic (BTM) and Advanced (ATM) Tactical Medicine Course is approved for 80 hours of Law Enforcement Training for those students that complete the program.

In cooperation with the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training and the International School of Tactical Medicine we are proud to announce the approval of the first federally approved SWAT Medic training program in the United States. This school is the first to set a national standard for training SWAT medical team personnel.
